"TRS is looking for a Supervisor for our well established Client in the Electrical and Lighting Protection Systems based in Polokwane."

- The installation of earthing and lightning protection systems on contracts allocated to you, including trenching.
- Execute your work as per scope of contract.
- Control of labour force, working overtime and give details to Contracts Manager.
- Controlling of labour force working overtime, if so required by Contracts Manager.
- Carry out on-site training of your labour force.
- Accountable to Contracts Coordinator.
- Workmanship on all your contracts, neatness of installation and handover by your Main Contractor / Consulting Engineer.
- Correct completion of your daily HHK working sheets by your working teams and yourself.
- Strict control and account of your daily materials used on the various contracts and recorded on work sheets.
- Report to site office whenever going to site and introduce yourself when required.
- Test single electrodes and record resistance values on drawings whenever available.
- Test complete lightning protection system on site and have signed off whenever possible or required.
- Cleaning of ground around poles and earth termination points on completed sites.
- Report damage to property.
- Report all accidents and injuries to Contracts coordinator. Report any damages to roof tiles, sewerage pipes or any other damage which may have occurred on site immediately to the Main Contractor's person in charge.
- Keep site drawings, soil survey sheets, architects drawings, paperwork etc, neat at all times.
- Request Contracts coordinator to visit site to resolve problems on site, queries on design, problems with equipment, etc.
- Control of working tools, equipment, plant and report of any misuse, lost tools, etc to Contracts Manager.
- Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

- Tertiary Education (preferably).
- Five (5) plus years with Electrical background experience.
