Here is an exciting opportunity to join a mega project in Calgary, Alberta as a Supply Chain SMAT Technician! In this role, you will be responsible for the administration, management, coordination, training, implementation, and support activities relating to the management of the project SMAT systems and tools and associated documentation (pre-award to close-out) for the Supply Chain in the Home office, Support office and Job Site environments.
Key Job Duties:
- Provide general and direct support to other procurement team members and project personnel.
- Applies technical knowledge and trouble shooting skills for all types of SMAT and other interfacing systems data management and issues.
- Provide training and workshops on SMAT and other integrating systems, tools, policies, standards, and methodologies to other project team members.
- Assist with the development, implementation, and management of SMAT Procurement reports and dashboards.
- Provided regular reports and updates on systems data (progress, challenges, downtimes, etc.) to supervisor
Key Requirements:
- Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and minimum of five (5) years of work-related SMAT and Supply Chain experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to ten (10) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors and ability to travel to project offices and the job site, as required
- Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job, specifically SMAT in a Supply Chain environment
- High proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
