Pay - $22.36/hr
Position – Railcar Chemical Handler / Tank Farm Operator
Work Schedule –
5:30 - 5:30
4 Days on 4 Days off,
Rotating to opposite shift every 4 weeks
Required Knowledge, Experience, Skills
• Must possess at least 2 years of industrial experience
• Must have a good work history, a proven job performance history
• Must be observant for quality process and cost issues
• Possess solid problem solving skills which would include ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and determine root cause failure of operational
problems
• Possess good planning and organizational skills
• Good communication skills both verbal and written
• Possess good computer skills
• Ability to multitask simultaneously while maintaining high-quality standards
• Ability to work with and take direction from supervision
• Self motivated and have ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Some mechanical ability and aptitude
• Capable of reading and following instructions to produce a quality product and work safely
• Ability to sample incoming/outgoing raw materials
• Ability to unload raw materials
• Must keep assigned area clean and clean up unsafe spills
• Ability to operate a forklift
• Ability to operate a mobile rail car mover
• Must have a valid driver’s license
Preferred Requirements
• Technical degree
• Previous mechanical/polymers experience
Physical Requirements
Ability to satisfy all the physical requirements and working conditions for this position with or without reasonable accommodations for this
position.
• Frequently required to sit, stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl.
• Frequently required to walk on gravel and rail tracks for loading, unloading and inspections.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to push/pull up to 60 pounds.
• Willing and able to wear and use the prescribed personal protective equipment including respirator.
