Technical Drafter

TRS Staffing Solutions has an exciting opportunity for Technical Drafters. Our client is a leading bulk terminal in Canada and plays a vital role in the supply chain that transports Canadian commodities to the global markets This is a perfect long-term opportunity for individuals who are seeking to grow their skills in a leading company in this sector.

The ideal candidate will have:
• A minimum of 3 years technical drafting experience in marine shipping, oil&gas, mining, or other heavy industries
• Proficiency in AutoCad, MS office Suite
• Proficiency in BIM modelling is preferred
• Experience in document coordination and management
• Must be available to work on site

Key Responsibilities:
• Modify drawings and keep track of revisions
• Work closely with BIM personnel and provide technical assistance
• Ensure technical drawings on site are up to date and meet standards
• Create new drawings based on requirements
• Maintain and manage drawings and document database.
