Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the seamless transition and handover of our construction projects. You will play a critical role in upholding our stringent quality standards, maintaining comprehensive documentation, and fostering clear communication channels between our construction team and clients. Your in-depth knowledge of construction site practices and project management will be instrumental in delivering projects that consistently meet or surpass client expectations.
Key responsibilities, accountabilities and decision ownership:
- Ensure construction phases meet quality and regulatory standards.
- Maintain accurate, organized documentation for client handover.
- Act as primary client contact during transition, addressing inquiries professionally.
- Coordinate stakeholders for smooth handover of assets and information.
- Identify and resolve defects promptly with project team.
- Ensure compliance with UK regulations, codes, and safety standards.
- Mitigate risks to avoid delays or complications.
- Collaborate with teams and subcontractors to align handover expectations.
- Monitor budgets during handover and optimize efficiency.
- Implement process improvements and best practices for future projects.
- Deliver seamless handover and address post-construction concerns promptly.
Must have technical / professional qualifications:
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years in construction project management.
- Knowledge of construction practices, QA processes, and regulations.
- Strong organizational skills for managing documentation.
- Familiarity with construction software and tools.
- Up-to-date understanding of UK building codes and safety standards.
- Ability to identify and mitigate risks proactively.
