Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee track design, procurement, installation, and systems testing and commissioning.
• Develop track design and project execution plans with strong focus on safety and efficiency.
• Provide technical support throughout all project phases.
• Provide quality review of track alignment, designs, specifications, methods, testing procedures, schedules, and costs.
• Provide guidance and advise for the project management team regarding design suitability, risks, and mitigation strategies.
• Foster strong relationships with various stakeholders
• Negotiate, issue, and monitor subcontractors and purchase orders.
• Support estimators and schedulers with project controls matters.
• Mentor, train, and supervise trackwork personnel.
• Other duties as assigned.
Key Requirements:
• At least 10 years of direct experience in the design, construction, testing & commissioning, and maintenance of track or related infrastructure.
• Demonstrated knowledge in track construction technology, equipment, requirements, policies, and methods.
• Experience in project estimating, budgeting, and scheduling is preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and project management skills
• Able to perform risk management related activities such as identify, mitigate and evaluate risks.
