Traffic Supervisor

We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Traffic Control Supervisor in Toronto, ON! This is an opportunity to be a part of a group of International leaders in the rail and infrastructure industry.
As a Traffic Control Supervisor, you will have the desire to grow your career working on a major capital project, while working with your team ensuring appropriate personnel and equipment is available.

• Direct all traffic control operations, working together with project managers and contractors; point of contact over all projects personnel and procedures
• Liaise with all government authorities; City, MTO, TTC and others
• Record and report lane and full closures, detours, delays and all communication to those required
• Monitor queue lengths and take appropriate measures if affecting safety and transit services, municipal roads or other provincial roadways
• Monitor travel times, performance issues, operational issues to appropriate Managers and committees
• Respond and report all traffic and construction related incidents on orderly movement of vehicular, cycling or pedestrian traffic; safety, major incidents, documentation of traffic measures and response within 24 hours

Qualifications
• Degree or Diploma in related field or years of site experience will be considered
• 4-8 years of direct traffic supervision
• Previous experience on LRT or rail construction projects
• Ability to work on an on-call basis during non-work hours
