Management Responsibilities:
• Must lead and direct personnel in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures including federal and state applicable laws.
Job Description:
• Responsible for the Company’s manufacturing operation consisting of the direction, strategy, planning, and execution of all production plans.
• Directly responsible for the Integration, Fabrication, and Steel Processing Departments.
• Places safety and environmental issues as a priority at all times.
• Provide leadership, direction and manage plant operations for production activities and client support.
• Responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality products delivered on time in a safe and efficient environment.
• Spearhead the development, communication and implementation of effective growth strategies, and processes for production.
• Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes and personnel designed to accommodate the rapid growth objectives of our organization.
• Coordinate plant activities through the planning with departmental managers to ensure the total manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a timely and cost effective manner.
• Implement cost effective systems of control over capital, operating expenditures, manpower, wages and salaries.
• Establish and monitor overall plant performance for production and quality standards.
• Provide leadership and direction for scheduling work in the plant including flexing labor, capacity constraints and work schedule.
• Provide leadership and training to accomplish the company goals and objectives.
• Incorporates shop floor organization and plant cleanliness among plant personnel.
• Ensures all personnel places safety and environmental issues as a priority and has tools to address any concerns.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related major from a four year college or university; and 5+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of ten years of education and experience.
• Must have a minimum 10 years related working experience required
• Leadership skills. The ability to work with and effectively communicate with peers, subordinates and team members at all levels.
• Must have technical skills, knowledge of process improvement, and Lean Manufacturing techniques.
• Analytical skills. The ability to prioritize efforts through Root Cause Analysis and other analytical tools.
• Must have excellent leadership, management, organizational skills, analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Must have an excellent track record in employee development.
• Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Must have experience in working in a quality standardized environment (i.e. ISO, TS, etc.)
• Experience with ERP JobBOSS software program or similar preferred.
• Must be able to qualify for security clearance by a Federal background check.
• CNC machine programming experience preferred
