"TRS has an urgent requirement for a Senior WPO Mechanical & Piping Engineer with Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical industry experience to be based in HILLERØD, DENMARK. "

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Review and approve piping specifications, piping install specifications, passivation procedures, hygienic piping specifications, passivation plans, review piping supports and pipe rack designs.
• Assist with system boundary definition for ease of commissioning.
• Facilitate project job specification processes with A/E, the CM firm, contracting entities and end user.
• Manage and evaluate status reports regarding design and construction progress.
• Manage electronic and hard-copy data files administration in the clients’ systems and archives.
• Review and participate in 3D model reviews of facility and large equipment modules, work with master planners in assessing degree of piping progress.
• Review space coordination and equipment routing plans into the facility during construction phase.
• Review SOW for tendering of piping and mechanical packages, being part of the tendering team, with the General Contractor, requesting proposals from mechanical installation contractors etc.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
• Accredited Bachelor’ Degree qualification.
• Minimum 10 years’ progressive mechanical, piping and black utilities experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Experience working within a large-scale biopharmaceutical drug substance project.
• Knowledge of current design codes for process equipment and piping systems.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and AutoCad.
• Familiarity with industry standard design and analysis software for stress analysis.
