TRS Craft Services is hiring for Equipment Technician III/Equipment Mechanic in the Tyler, Texas area!

Equipment Technician III/Equipment Mechanic


Principal Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Perform routine adjustments, tests, inspections, installations, maintenance, and repairs to equipment in the shop; respond to field calls as needed
• Safely load and unload equipment for transporting
• Complete necessary paperwork, including work orders, parts orders, and billings
• Maintain an orderly work area
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding general service needs
• Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards
• Plan, organize, and carry out assignments as directed
• Adhere to and support Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies
• Effectively develop and apply the Core Skills to the job
• Meet expectations on attendance and punctuality
• Other duties as assigned

Type of Equipment: JLG forklifts, JLG man lift both scissor type and boom type. Light towers, Kubota carts, air compressors, water pumps etc.

Typical Minimum Qualifications - Related Education, Experience & Skills
• A combination of education and directly related experience equal to three (3) years*; some locations may have additional or different qualifications to comply with local requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
• Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
• Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective

Working Conditions
• Generally favorable indoor office workspace, and/or;
• Various levels of environmental conditions including but not limited to project worksites and vendor/client facilities which may have temporary office space, moving mechanical parts and vibration; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles and extreme temperatures and high noise levels.

Shift: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with occasional overtime.

Pay: $42-46K annually ($20-22/hr)
