Job Title: Industrial Electrician
Location: Waukesha, WI
Industry: heavy industrial metals manufacturing
Status of Hire: direct placement; permanent
Pay: $26/hr-$40/hr +
Reports to: Electrical Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Working from diagrams and schematics
  • Install and service plant electrical distribution and control systems including work on switches, control panels, electronic devices and other related gear
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a wide variety of electrical equipment, including:
    • Foundry equipment (ARC and induction furnaces and casting machines)
    • Machining equipment
    • CNC machine tools
    • AC/DC motors
    • Material handling equipment such as scissor lifts, boom lifts, overhead gantry cranes, etc.
  • Perform all service in compliance with applicable codes, including NECA and OSHA
  • May instruct and assign work to other Electricians
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Electrician's apprenticeship or similar experience strongly preferred
  • Previous experience as an electrician in an active manufacturing environment is required.
    • Previous foundry or heavy industrial experience is strongly preferred
  • Experience in installation and troubleshooting of relay and PLC, controlled equipment
  • Experience in programming of PLC's a plus
  • Must understand basic relay logic
  • Requires thorough knowledge of applicable codes
  • Knowledge of DC motors and drives, AC motors and variable frequency drives (Servo)
  • Experience working with high voltages greater than 480V +
  • Demonstrated ingenuity and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision
Job Title: Machine Repair Technician
Location: Waukesha, WI
Industry: heavy industrial metals manufacturing
Status of Hire: direct placement; permanent
Pay: $24/hr-$35/hr +
Reports to: Machining Supervisor

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Rebuild and overhaul machines including complete disassembly, inspection, diagnosis and repair
  • Layout and machine complicated parts involving machine set-ups and operations
  • Perform skilled fitting of bearings, spindles, scrape ways and other complex alignment/fitting procedures
  • Design and redesign pneumatic, hydraulic and other circuitry and related components as needed to correct machine problems
  • Coordinate projects as needed, instructing and assigning work to other employees
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Completed apprenticeship in machine tool repair or similar education and experience required
  • Multiple years’ experience in the repair of a wide variety of machines and machine tool equipment
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics
  • Ability to undertake and complete projects with minimal supervision
  • Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs
**Must be authorized to work in the US regardless of visa transfer or sponsorship
**Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, physical, and background check to be eligible for hire
