Seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator/Dispatcher, with at least 2.5 years experience in trucking/transportation industry. Experience with Flatbed, Van and Reefers is a must in order to succeed in this role
• Will work closely with Owner Operators/Independent truck drivers;
• Must understand rate/quotes/billing;
• Familiar with Port of Houston;
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a PLUS but not required;
• Familiar with PC Miler, Web App, Load Boards;
• Set up loads with Load brokers and carriers and be familiar with Broker list;
• Give customers LTL/Volume/Full Loads rates with added fees
• Understand how to put a load together, provide Owner Operator with a quote
• Will be responsible for reports to management daily / weekly / monthly;
• Other duties as assigned
• Computer Savvy - with advanced computer skills
• Contract to hire
• $16-18 per hour DOE
• Must be available and willing to work Monday thru Friday, 8am to 5pm
