$800 Bonus after 90 days

Position – Spin/Creel Operator
Work Schedule – Rotating 12-hr shifts and some overtime required

Job Title
Spin/Creel Operator

Minimum Criteria:
• Be able to operate can-lifter and fork-lift. (Transport empty cans to spin and full cans to stretch area).
• Be able to read and write and perform all duties by SOP's.
• Be able to perform mathematical equations.
• Be able to operate hoist used to transport batteries.
• Have basic computer skills for data entry.

Specific Duties
• Operate can-lifter. (Transport empty cans to spin and full cans to stretch area).
• Look for opportunities to improve machine efficiency, improve quality, and reduce waste.
• Be able to read and write and perform all duties by SOP's. Be able to perform mathematical equations.
• Operate hoist used to transport batteries.
• Data entry.
• Operate fork-lift and can-lifter in a Safe and Efficient manner.
• Perform any special instructions and/or duties as specified by management.


Responsibilities
• Know and follow the laws, policies, and standards that apply to your job.
• Attend and actively participate in all required training.
• Make the right choices every day. Ask for help if the right choices are not clear.
• Creel and Decreel cans in Stretch Line area.
• Doff Cans and fill out production sheet
• Follow detailed instructions and complete necessary forms.
• Maintain and change out can-lifter batteries as necessary.
• Perform routine housekeeping duties.
• Assist in spin and stretch as needed. (Example Stretching Lace up or Spin machine Wrap out)
• Follow all safety policies, procedures and instructions. Also, ensure that all others in the area are following these policies, procedures, and instructions.
• Follow approved quality procedures at all times to insure a proper level of product is produced for customers.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area, and complete assigned housekeeping duties according to work instructions as instructed by Supervision.
