Specific Job Duties:
· Manage the assembly and injection maintenance department and others as needed
· Drive safety amongst team members and all others in the facility
· Drive continuous improvement activities in the department relating to safety, quality, equipment availability, and cost reduction
· Manage department budget
· Record, analyze, and report metrics and trends. Identify troublesome equipment and subassemblies, determine root cause, and develop action plans for containment and resolution
· Ensure critical and necessary spare parts are available and controlled
· Develop team technical skills and drive autonomy amongst team members
· Work closely with the process teams and other customers to ensure they are provided with the support they need for success
· Coordinate and supervise the activities of contractors performing work on-site
· Develop and improve current maintenance procedures while ensuring that they are compliant with all health, safety and environmental regulatory guidelines of local, state and federal agencies
· Lead and participate in plant maintenance team activities to continuously improve department performance goals and to meet and exceed budget targets
· Develop and maintain IATF standards as they relate to maintenance requirements and documentation.
· Perform other duties as directed

Skills and Experience Required
· Multi-year managerial/supervisory and technical experience in a highly automated and fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment
· High level of organizational, communication, and people skills
· Understanding of availability metrics
· Advanced technical knowledge of injection molding equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, ultrasonic welding, and a wide variety of automated cells and sub-assemblies
· Experience with and understanding of root cause analysis
· Experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens, Beckhoff, and other PLCs
· Experience with ABB, Kuka, and Fanuc robots
· Advanced computer skills
Education:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field, or combination of education and multiple years of related experience as described above
