Job Title: Senior Contract Manager
Location: Augusta, GA 30906
Industry: complex processes (industrial metals refining, processing)
Status of Hire: full-time, direct hire
Pay: $130-160k depending on experience
Reports to: Procurement Director 
Key Interfaces: procurement department

Objective:
As Senior Contract Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the contract lifecycle for the organization's procurement activities. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and legal teams to ensure effective negotiation, drafting, execution, and administration of contracts. Your role will be vital in mitigating risks, optimizing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities
• Manage processes and contractors (responsible for contracts)
• Troubleshoot supplier issues in E2E
• Actively participate in budgeting process and cost assessments
• Contribute to project timeline and work breakdown structure development (incl. milestones, KPIs, long lead times, critical suppliers/parts)
• Regularly re-evaluate contracting strategy and supply risks
• Participate during constructability reviews
• Drive contracting strategy and contractor selection
• Review contractors’ deliverables
• Monitor contractors’ compliance with construction plans and procedures
• Manage day-to-day activities of construction phase
• Participate during contractors’ negotiations to cover claims and construction issues
• Report construction progress / risks to project director / Head of Contract Management
• When PM/Construction Manager not at site, act as single point of contact with contractors
• Supports PM in identifying critical-path contracts / items
• Manage processes and contractors (responsible for contracts)
• Keep abreast of market changes 

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or equivalent qualification and several years of professional experience
• Experience with an International company in a Contracts Management, Procurement role
• Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in industrial manufacturing and proficiency in SAP, experience with SharePoint is a plus
• Must exhibit exemplary communication skills
