Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization of electrical systems for industrial manufacturing equipment. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of our production operations. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, strong project leadership, and a passion for innovation in industrial automation and controls.
Key Responsibilities:

Design & Development:
- Lead the design of electrical systems for new and existing manufacturing equipment, including power distribution, control panels, PLCs, HMIs, and motor controls.
- Develop detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings using CAD tools.

Project Management:
- Manage electrical engineering projects from concept through commissioning, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical engineering, software, maintenance, and operations.

System Integration & Troubleshooting:
- Integrate electrical systems with automation platforms and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
- Provide advanced troubleshooting support for electrical issues in production equipment.

Compliance & Safety:
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes and standards (e.g., NEC, UL, NFPA 70E).
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety improvements.

Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to improve equipment performance, energy efficiency, and reliability.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring electrical issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in electrical engineering within an industrial or manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar design software.
- Strong knowledge of PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens), VFDs, and industrial networking.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PE (Professional Engineer) license.
- Experience with robotics, vision systems, or advanced automation technologies.
- Knowledge of Industry 4.0 and smart manufacturing trends.
