We are seeking a highly skilled Sr. Subcontractor Administrator to support the Vice President and General Counsel of our client’s organization. The Sr. Subcontractor Administrator will be responsible for assisting with the review, negotiation, and drafting of contracts, ensuring that they are in compliance with corporate risk standards and adequately protect the company's interests.
The Sr. Subcontractor Administrator will also be responsible for coordinating insurance matters, reviewing and coordinating of letters of credit and bank guarantees, corporate governance matters, and performing administrative duties to support the Legal Department.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Review, negotiate, and draft terms and conditions for agreements with customers, change orders, and other forms of agreements, with attorney support as required.
• Review, negotiate and draft letters of credit and parent company guarantees for agreements with customers and vendors.
• Review, negotiate and draft release and waivers of liens or other instrumentalities.
• Understand and apply legal principles for various forms of agreements and document preparation, with attorney support as required.
• Perform export control and sanctions due diligence and coordinate efforts with outside counsel as directed.
• Provide administrative support to the Legal Department including the following:
o Maintain document database including uploading and tracking documents (e.g., agreements, compliance documents, etc.)
o Track outside counsel invoices and process for payment
o Provision of notary services.
Job Requirements/Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Minimum of 9 years of experience in contract administration involving legal issues and negotiation.
• The ideal candidate will possess experience in the construction and/or power generation industry (or related industry).
• Be licensed as a notary or willing to become one.
