SALARY: 4’500 – 5’700 EUR

"TRS is looking for an Area Coordinator with Landfill experience within the Oil and Gas Industry to join our international client's project team based in Mozambique."

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Promote safe work practices and environmental protection, ensuring that safety standards are respected.
- Ensure the fulfillment of the project quality and contractual requirements.
- Ensure the set-up of the time schedule, adhering to the time frame allocated to the multidisciplinary specific scope of work
- Optimize the construction sequences operating directly on field, in order to meet the production needs in more efficient manner.
- Manage multidisciplinary interfaces on field, preventing and resolving interferences and clashes.
- Ensure that the activities are carried out within the planned time and costs, coordinating directly on field the construction team and subcontractors.
- Support the preparation of the work progress reports
- Support the mobilization and demobilization of the assigned resources, in accordance with the project planned time frame and project needs.
- Give technical support to project management to evaluate any variation requests in the assigned plant area.
- Ensure the achievement of the established construction milestones in the assigned areas.
- Support the management of interfaces with engineering departments for drawings and materials availability.
- Ensure the achievement of the MC certificate according to priority and systemization done by commissioning, being responsible for certification and punch list clearance.
- Coordinate with Subcontractors for the preparation and verification of monthly work progress.
- Ensure the management of construction work-front to support Subcontractors and Direct Hiring manpower.
- Set objectives, measurable targets and clear responsibilities to all Direct Hiring Staff involved in the Project.

EDUCATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Recognized and accredited degree / technical qualification required.
- 10 years plus recent Area Coordinating Landfill field of experience.

Salary: TBC
Rotation: 90/21 or 75/21 while in Mozambique (to be confirmed)
Working days/hours: 10hrs per day/ 6 days a week whilst in Mozambique
Overtime rate: The payment of overtime is included in the daily salary rate. No additional payment for overtime

Travel: Prepaid Economy class ticket at beginning, end of CNT and for each work leave rotation cycle
