An incredible opportunity is now available for Five (5) Auto Electricians who will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring and electronic components in manufacturing machinery and equipment. The position is based in Boksburg, Gauteng.
Job Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, circuits, and electronic components in manufacturing machinery and equipment.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical faults and malfunctions in a timely manner.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other maintenance personnel regarding electrical systems.
- Maintain accurate records of all electrical maintenance and repair work performed.
- Prepare detailed reports on electrical system performance, issues, and resolutions.
Qualifications & Skill Requirements:
- Qualified Auto-Electrician – Trade Certificate.
- Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Automotive Electrical, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in electrical fitting.
- Knowledge of mining machines, mine safety regulations and procedures.
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills in auto-electrical systems.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Must be able to maintain, do new installations and fault finding on 0-400V AC and DC systems.
- Willingness to work shifts, standby, and respond to emergencies as required.
- Strong Technical Skills.
