Pay: $100-145k base plus bonus (depending on experience)

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced on-site Automation Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated systems and processes to optimize production efficiency and reduce costs. The Automation Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation and implement solutions to streamline operations.

Responsibilities:
•The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automated systems and processes to optimize production efficiency and reduce costs
•The Automation Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation and implement solutions to streamline operations
•Develop and maintain control systems for automated equipment
•Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to automated systems and equipment
•Participate in the development and implementation of new products and processes
•Conduct regular maintenance and upgrades to automated systems and equipment
•Create and maintain documentation related to automation processes and systems
•Train and mentor other team members on automation processes and systems

Experience/Education Requirements:
•5-7 years of experience in automation engineering
•Experience with automation software and hardware systems, such as PLCs, HMIs, and SCADA
- Siemens TIA Portal, WinCC
- Server-Client architecture Industrial communication Profinet, Modbus, OPC-UA etc
- OT/IT interface, OSI PI system
•Proficient in programming languages such as C++, Java, or Python
•Experience with robotics, motion control, and vision systems
•Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
•Strong communication and collaboration skills
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team
•Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
•Must exhibit exemplary communication skills
•Must exhibit a leader-coach mentality and act as a change agent with a team-oriented focus
•Proven problem-solving skills and high level of independence (in planning, organization, execution and control)
•The ability to act decisively and solve staff or equipment related problems

•Prolonged periods of walking, standing, bending, climbing, balancing, crouching and kneeling
•May have prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer, in meetings or presenting and training
•Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
•Required to reach and grasp with hands and reach with arms
•Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
•Must be able to respond to any safety incident quickly and effectively and/or accident including First Responder duties
•Willing and physically able to travel domestically and/or internationally, if requested
