Responsibilities:
- Utilize advanced CAD software, including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and 3ds Max, to create precise and comprehensive drawings and models
- Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and project managers to understand project requirements and translate them into CAD representations
- Generate 2D and 3D drawings for a wide range of engineering applications, including mechanical assemblies, building plans, and architectural designs
- Refine and optimize CAD models to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with industry standards and specifications
- Attend design meetings, review blueprints, and gather project specifications to ensure drawings align with design intent
- Create and maintain CAD libraries and standards to ensure consistency and efficiency across projects
- Provide technical support and assistance to colleagues and clients regarding CAD software and procedures
- Stay up-to-date with emerging CAD technologies and trends, ensuring proficiency in the latest software tools and techniques
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Technology, Drafting Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in CAD Technician role, specializing in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and 3ds Max
- Proficient in creating and modifying 2D and 3D drawings, including layouts, sections, elevations, and detailed components
- Excellent understanding of engineering principles, design concepts, and manufacturing processes
