“Are you an experienced, ambitious Civil Engineer in Pharmaceutical Plant Construction (m/f/d) with the ability to support the management and implementation of projects in the Biopharma/Life Sciences Sector from initiation to completion? Then we have an interesting challenge for you at our customer's new location in Frankfurt am Main.”
Job Responsibilities:
• Review contractor procedures, SPAs and permit requests in collaboration with site manager and EHS team. Ensure that all risks have been assessed and appropriate control measures are in place to carry out the work safely.
• Full knowledge of contract scope, technical documentation, contract price details and manufacturing/delivery/construction program.
• Monitoring the implementation of the contractor's quality plan; conducting daily inspections of works to ensure required standards are being met; Supervise any tests or inspections required by the inspection and test plan.
• Works closely with CM and the QA/QC managers on all quality issues; informs the QA/QC manager of possible deviations from the IFC documentation and ensures that only approved changes are made.
• Tracks and reviews all technical RFI's, submissions, purchases, etc. from contractors and forwards them to the QA/QC Manager or Field Engineering Team for processing.
Skills and Qualification Requirements:
• University degree in engineering, construction management or a related discipline.
• At least 10 years of experience managing large construction projects and multidisciplinary construction teams.
• Additional professional qualifications in the field of engineering or construction/project management desirable
• Experience in digital project management desirable.
• Experience in carrying out construction projects in specialized industrial sectors, e.g. B. Life Sciences, Food, Critical Missions and Data Centers, etc.
• Experience in promoting and ensuring best health and safety standards on large construction projects.
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills.
