Civil Project Engineer – Perth Based

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Civil Project Engineer with a strong background in civil infrastructure and drainage to join our Perth-based team. The successful candidate will support the planning, coordination, and delivery of civil works across a range of projects, ensuring alignment with project objectives, timelines, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Project Manager, the candidate will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating civil works on-site and supporting project delivery from planning through to execution.

  • Managing subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely and quality delivery of works.

  • Monitoring project progress, budgets, and schedules, and reporting on key milestones.

  • Reviewing and interpreting civil and drainage designs to ensure constructability and compliance.

  • Liaising with clients, consultants, and stakeholders to resolve technical and operational issues.

  • Ensuring all works comply with relevant Australian Standards, environmental regulations, and safety requirements.

  • Supporting procurement, quality assurance, and risk management processes.

Candidate Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

  • Australian accredited 4-year engineering degree in Civil Engineering.

  • 5–10 years of experience in civil infrastructure projects, ideally within WA.

  • Strong understanding of drainage systems, stormwater management, and site-based civil works.

  • Experience working on construction sites and managing subcontractors.

  • Familiarity with relevant Australian Standards and local authority requirements.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

  • Experience in mining, transport, or land development projects is desirable.
