About the role
TRS Staffing is seeking an experienced Execution Planner to join our Adelaide-based team, supporting the delivery of a major mining and metals EPCM project. Working with a globally recognised Tier 1 EPCM organization within a multidisciplinary project team, you will develop and maintain integrated schedules, monitor project performance, analyse critical path activities, and provide forecasting and reporting to support successful project execution. This role is ideal for a seasoned planning professional with strong Primavera P6 expertise, excellent stakeholder engagement skills, and a proven background delivering complex engineering, construction, or EPCM projects. Duties and responsibilities

Develop and maintain integrated project schedules across all phases of project delivery.

Create detailed workstream and package schedules to support project execution and planning activities.

Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and project teams to ensure schedule alignment and accuracy.

Review of subcontractor schedules and progress data for alignment and integration with project master schedule and milestones.

Monitor project progress, forecast outcomes, and provide critical path and variance analysis.

Identify scheduling risks and opportunities and assist with mitigation and recovery planning.

Prepare planning documentation, schedule reports, and project performance updates for stakeholders.

Support change management processes and ensure compliance with project controls standards and procedures.
Skills and experience required

Minimum 15+ years' experience in project planning and scheduling within large-scale engineering, construction, or EPCM projects preferably within the Mining and Metals industry.

Strong proficiency in Primavera P6, with experience using Microsoft Office applications and planning software tools.

Proven ability to develop, maintain, and analyse complex integrated project schedules.

Experience monitoring project progress, forecasting outcomes, and providing schedule performance reporting.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.

Demonstrated ability to identify schedule risks, support change management processes, and deliver planning solutions in a fast-paced project environment.
