About the role
TRS Staffing is currently searching for a People Logistics Lead to establish, implement and lead the end-to-end workforce mobilisation and demobilisation program for a major resources project based in Adelaide. This role will be responsible for developing mobilisation strategies, governance frameworks, systems, processes and compliance requirements while ensuring workforce readiness aligns with project schedules and operational needs.
Duties and responsibilities
- Develop and implement the project workforce mobilisation strategy and execution plans.
- Establish mobilisation governance, procedures, systems and reporting frameworks.
- Lead workforce onboarding, compliance, training and mobilisation activities.
- Coordinate workforce demand planning with project teams, contractors and service providers.
- Manage mobilisation risks, issues and escalation processes across the project.
- Build and lead a high-performing mobilisation team during project execution.
- Ensure safe, compliant and timely mobilisation and demobilisation of personnel.
Skills and experience required
- Extensive experience leading mobilisation functions on major resources projects.
- Demonstrated ability to establish mobilisation systems, processes and governance frameworks.
- Strong stakeholder management and contractor engagement experience.
- Experience with workforce planning, forecasting and mobilisation reporting.
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and cross-functional project activities.
- Strong knowledge of workforce compliance, onboarding and site access requirements.
