About the role
TRS Staffing is currently searching for a Junior Project Engineer to join a construction team based in Adelaide. This role will initially focus on preparing construction path presentations and coordinating with construction personnel and CAD resources to develop construction layouts. The position offers the opportunity to broaden into a variety of construction support activities and is expected to run for an initial six-month period, with the possibility of extension.
Duties and responsibilities
- Prepare path of construction presentations and supporting documentation
- Coordinate with construction teams on project requirements and deliverables
- Liaise with CAD operators to develop construction layouts and drawings
- Support planning and scheduling activities for construction projects
- Assist with the review and tracking of project documentation
- Participate in project meetings and provide progress updates
- Provide general engineering and construction support across project activities
Skills and experience required
- Degree qualification in Engineering or related discipline
- Up to 8 years of project or construction engineering experience
- Experience working within construction or infrastructure projects
- Strong coordination and stakeholder communication skills
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and project documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project reporting tools
