The role will see you act as a focal point for the Employer. The major component exchange campaign is being performed by a Contractor who is undertaking the role of Principal Contractor and Principal Designer as well as
You will Conduct turbine walk-downs upon completion of a major component exchange. Perform this walk-down alongside the Principal Contractor prior to the jack up vessel departing the asset. The findings of the walk-down are to be recorded in an Employer supplied check sheet.
Experience
- Act as focal point and primary point of contact.
- Identifying and resolving any issues or challenges that arise during the project and feedback the resolution actions to the Project Manager.
- Chair a daily update call.
- Produce a daily report (format to be agreed) and collate contractor daily reports to be a single focal point for daily reporting.
- Attend safety briefings, toolbox talks and daily crew meetings.
- Deliver safety charter to the occasional member of onboarding personnel, as necessary.
- Maintain a register of lessons learnt, observations, etc., that can feed into learnings for future campaigns.
- Witness lifting processes and interact with lifting supervisors.
- Liaise/engage with vessel crew and heavy lift contractors and act as a contactable and visible presence.

- GWO First Aid
- Medical (including Chester Step) – Oil & Gas UK or RUK Wind Turbine Medical
- Onshore, Offshore & FROG Inductions – conducted on Offshore Energy Manager
- Cat1A Authorisation Training
