Here is an exciting opportunity to join a megaproject in Kitimat, British Columbia as a Coating Construction Coordinator! You would be at work within a growing EPCM/construction firm with projects worldwide and joining a team of talented professionals all working towards one goal. This opportunity boasts longevity and a great work-life balance rotation of 14/7.

Reporting to the Construction Manager, the Coating Construction Coordinator will work within the construction team in support of the installation of paint and coatings. The successful individual will largely be responsible for providing technical support to supervision, and act as the focal point for technical services and quality organizations to ensure that construction delivers the requirements to support other project team members.

Job duties:

-Act as dual function personnel providing technical support to craft and supervision, as well as helping to satisfy the Quality requirements of the project.
-Be responsible for the activities of monitoring, inspection, documenting, testing, and acceptance of completed work as outlined in the Quality Responsibility Matrix.
-Work closely with the Quality Manager and Technical Services Managers to ensure the requirements of the Site Quality Manual/Project Specifications are met.
-Perform quality inspections for the assigned discipline and sign-off the quality records

Qualifications:

-Engineering degree/ Diploma Coating, Specialist, or equivalent technical project experience. 5-10 years of experience in Construction Supervision.
-10+ years of Construction experience
-NACE Level 1 Inspector certification minimum Level 2 preferred
-Experience working with Thermal Spray Aluminum (TSA)
-Strong working knowledge of NACE and TSA construction codes, standards, principals, and
procedures.
