Summary
As a Commercial Sales Account Manager you will provide personalized solutions tailored to each customer’s equipment, scaffolding, tooling and consumable needs. You’ll support a diverse client base across the various industrial construction sectors.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and build long-term relationships with new and existing clients, identifying opportunities where you can deliver exceptional value.
- Act as a strategic consultant by understanding customers operations and providing tailored solutions that align with their business objectives.
- Deliver in-person virtual presentations that clearly communicate Client’s full range of equipment and integrated services.
- Create competitive proposals and manage the end-to-end sales process, from qualification through negotiation and closing.
- Monitor market trends, competitors, and industry developments to proactively position Client for growth.
- Maintain CRM records, pipeline tracking, and forecasting with attention to accuracy and timelines.
- Collaborate with operations, logistics, and finance teams to ensure seamless client service delivery.
- Attend industry events and trade shows as a brand ambassador for the Client in the Canadian market.
Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in B2B sales or account management, preferably in equipment rental, industrial services, or construction sectors.
- A proven ability to develop new business and consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
- Strong interpersonal skills and communication skills, with the ability to build credibility, and respond effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficient in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, for data analysis, quoting, and presentation development.
- SAP experience would be a definite plus, particularly SAP Business one.
- Essential to juggle multiple time-sensitive priorities, while delivering quality support to customers in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability and willingness to travel throughout Canada and the USA.
- Must be able to work well within a team environment.
- Relevant post-secondary education in a related field is preferred.
- A Valid Class 5 drivers License and provide a current 3-year drivers abstract.
