About Role:
As Commissioning Engineering the role is to ensuring new or modified industrial systems (like power plants, HVAC, ETP/STP) are installed correctly and perform to design specifications, involving site visits, equipment testing, troubleshooting, documentation, stakeholder communication, and ensuring safety/compliance. Key duties include system testing, technical support, report generation, and coordinating with project teams for smooth project handover.
Basic Job Qualifications:
- Planning & Execution: Developing commissioning plans, conducting site surveys, and overseeing installation.
- Testing & Troubleshooting: Inspecting, testing, diagnosing, and fixing issues in mechanical, electrical, and control systems (including PLCs).
- Documentation: Preparing detailed commissioning reports, technical documentation, and performance records.
- Collaboration: Liaising with project managers, clients, and other engineers to meet project goals.
- Compliance: Ensuring systems meet performance, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Support: Providing technical guidance and support during start-up and handover.
- Must have strong commissioning activities experience for Data Center/building projects at construction site.
- Good experience in Airport/data center project experience.
- Start-up/pre-commissioning/commissioning/safety plans and procedures experience required.
- Design review, Testing and Commissioning experience in Electrical system for Data Center projects.
- Conversant with MS360, ETAP, EDSA, SKM, Smart Plant Electrical (SPEL).
- Experience in providing technical support to site construction team/testing and commissioning team.
- Equipment pre-start-up and start-up procedures.
- Development of standard operating procedures (SOP's) and Methods of Procedures (MOPs).
- Comprehensive Commissioning documentation
Typical Qualifications
- Education: Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline (B.Tech/B.E.).
- Experience: Relevant field experience in industrial systems.
- Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication (written/verbal), and time-management skills.
- Attributes: Detail-oriented, organized, ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams, and willingness to travel.
