Summary
Responsibilities
Supervise field commissioning activities on subcontractors doing:
- Chemical loading.
- Line-up and coordination of run-in of rotating equipment, including test-runs and witnessing.
- Function testing of equipment.
- Tightness testing and inerting.
- Drying of cryogenic lines using dry air or nitrogen.
- Coordination with other functions such as Safety Advisors and Construction.
- Confirmation of reinstatement of piping systems.
- Checking insulation and tracing.
- Alarm, trip checks and commissioning and operation of firefighting systems.
- Inspect / witness and sign inspections test records and ensure they are completed and recorded as per site Procedures.
- Conduct safety walk downs.
- Preparing, coordinating works and issuing permits to work for Subcontractor, Vendor / Licensor activities.
- Close out punch list items / inspection test reports.
- Effective coordination with Construction and Operations teams for smooth Commissioning and handover.
