In Belgium the focus lies on LTSAs (Long Term Service Agreements) and EPCm projects in Oil&Gas, Energy, Food, Life Sciences and Advanced Technologies. For this specific opportunity we are looking for a Construction Manager for a pharmaceutical project in the French part of Belgium:

Who are we looking for?

• In possession of EU driver’s license and EU work permit / EU nationality (candidate required immediately)
• Good knowledge of French and English(Dutch is an asset)
• Experience in the role of Construction Manager (minimum 5 years)
• Experience in supervising Engineering Management projects (minimum 5 years)
• Professional and intellectual work ability on an academic level
• Knowledge of standard IT tools such as MS office, Excel etc.
• Experience in Life Sciences is an asset, but not mandatory

What will you do?

• The position involves the management of all construction operations.
• Working closely together with the client as a Construction Management expert.
• Establish buildable and cost-effective solutions for the client.
• Formulate HSEQ policies and integration HSEQ standards and procedures.
• Project management during construction, handover, defects and final sign off.
• Management of direct reports and delegation of works to subcontractors.
• Respecting and meeting deadlines while taking in consideration cost-efficiency.
• Communication on a multidisciplinary level (HSE, Civil, Mechanical, E&I).
