Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all phases of furnace repair projects from planning to execution.
- Ensure compliance with SACPCMP regulations and site safety standards.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including engineers, contractors, and safety officers.
- Oversee procurement, scheduling, and quality control for furnace-related works.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure project alignment and satisfaction.
Qualification and Skills Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- ACPCMP Registration as a Construction Manager (mandatory).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in furnace repairs or refractory construction.
- Proven track record in managing shutdowns and high-risk mining / industrial projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
