Job Description:
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the company’s hiring needs, and meet competitive hiring goals and expectations
• Understand the Staffing plan as it sits and how to plan hiring strategies according to the scheduled project needs.
• Understand staffing plan budget associated with each position and how it fits with the quarterly budget.
• Manage the full recruiting lifecycle across a variety of open roles helping management find, hire, and retain quality talent
• Grow and foster high-touch relationships with a database of qualified active and passive talent to pull from as new positions open up
• Continuously partner with recruiting team and senior managers to design, refine, and implement innovative recruiting strategies
• Stay active with current with job boards, social networks, and platforms to find talent, and plan, create, and release job descriptions and announcements.
• Utilize knowledge of multiple recruiting sources and execute innovative recruiting strategies to find quality candidates and prospect for new business
• Screen resumes and prospects, qualify, interview, and manage candidates throughout interview process from interview preparation to assisting with final offer negotiation.
• Maintain a database of candidate records, including active and passive prospects, nurture candidate relationships.
• Follow up on interview process status and update records in internal database.
• Assist with Compensation and Benefits.
• Create Offer letters, Notice of Assignments, Letters of Reprimand, Letters of Increases.
• Understand and collaborate in retention plans, project bonuses etc.
• Assist with holiday functions, Collaboration Project, internal functions
Requirements:
• 5+ years’ experience in high volume construction recruitment
• Experience filling high volume of positions in the construction, mining and/or engineering industries
• Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and decision-making skills
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office, database management, and internet search
• Advance knowledge in Linkedin platform
• Intermediate in and Visio with knowledge in flowcharts, org charts, data flow diagrams
• Familiarity with job boards, Sharepoint, databases, and management systems
• Proven experience conducting various types of interviews (i.e., phone, video, etc.)
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource management (or relevant experience)
• Experience developing recruiting strategy
• Understanding of Staffing Plans, budgets associated with those plans with ability to read, understand and report
• Assist with policy and procedure updates
