An International Mining company are recruiting for a Contracts Assistant to work on a large UK based Mining project.

In your role as Contracts Assistant/Officer you will be supporting the Contracts Management team with contract Administration/Management for local and international contracts for the Project.

You will be supporting the Contracts Management Team and be administering various excel registers across the teams, including: Insurance, Master contract register, Contract variation registers, PO register, Fleet management assistance and Equipment hire registers.
Some of your other duties will include setting up purchase orders, assisting process variations, reviewing subcontractor invoices, checking times, rates and contract compliance. Your role will be overseen by Contracts Administrators.

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
• 2 years + experience working in a Contracts Management department or with Contracts Administration. Preferably on major projects in Mining, Oil&Gas, Construction, Infrastructure or Engineering.
• Understanding of setting up purchase orders
• Excellent Excel skills
• Highly organised and Proactive
• Great skills in coordinating and multi tasking in a fast paced environment.
