We are ideally looking for a contracts engineer with ideally a QS background who can handle negotiations associated with high value Jacket and Topsides contracts. Engineering, Procurement, Fabrication and Construction. Having Subsea SURF credentials could come in handy at some point.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
Preferably from a technical / engineering background with considerable experience of the UKCS market.
Previous experience in a Contracts Management role.
IT literate including SAP & MS Office.
Experienced in leading the drafting of terms and conditions for supply chain contracts for goods and services within the Onshore and UKCS E&P environment.
Experience working to CRINE LOGIC standards is essential. NEC, Fidic and other construction standards an advantage.
Presentational and communication skills (written & oral).
Ability to drive negotiations to achieve the best deal possible.
Commercially astute.
Able to self-manage and work alongside team members.
Develop and mentor others.
Lateral thinker / problem solver.
