Here is an exciting opportunity to join a mega project in Windsor, Ontario as a Contracts / Procurement Administrator.
Key Job Duties:
- Managing complex engineering or construction contracts, including understanding of complex contractual provisions;
- Collaborating with supply chain members at all levels and supervising contractual & commercial aspects of complex contracts.
- Engaging with internal stakeholders regarding contract matters.
- Interpreting contracts to help identify, manage, and settle claims, disputes, and questions.
Key Requirements:
- Undergraduate or college degree in civil engineering or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience dealing with construction contracts
- Understanding of construction contracting practices, preferably on a major project.
- Proficient in drafting and reviewing correspondence and interpreting contracts.
- Understanding of Cost, Value and Liability as well as risk is key for this role.
