Cost Engineer

Our local client is one of the largest industrial facilities and international traders of bulk commodities in BC and they are urgently looking for talented professionals who could be a part of their growing team.

The role: Cost Engineer

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Economics, or Accounting.
• Preferred certification: EIT, P.Eng, PMP, or CPA.
• 8 years of experience in cost engineering and cost control in an EPC, mining, oil & gas, heavy infrastructure environment.
• Must have worked in major capital CAPEX projects, full-cycle project cost control from initiation to close out, variance analysis, reporting systems, ERP, continuous improvements, and systems implementation.
• Ability to communicate at various levels and stakeholders (verbal and written).
• Articulate, strong composure, customer service attitude, and collaborative.
