TRS Staffing is searching for a Customer Service Representative in Houston, TX.
JOB DESCRIPTION
• Heavy engagement with Agri-Nutrient’s customers, Agri-Nutrients plants or terminals, functional groups, external stakeholders, and other Logistics Service Providers
• Timely communication to customers regarding order delivery confirmations, supply disruptions, complaints, or concerns.
• Will work together with the Demand Planner to insure successful execution of shipments from Agri-Nutrients plants or terminals to customers or other plants.
• Ensure all order issues are resolved, securing appropriate transportation (maritime cargo, truck or rail) working logistics service providers, providing necessary documents per Brazil’s domestic transportation requirements, arrange diversions and perform daily tracking of shipments to ensure timely delivery.
• Reviewing, approving, and submitting vendor invoices for processing in a timely manner.
• Focal Point for customers, internal stakeholders, plants, terminals, and logistics service providers
• Records and processes highly complex orders and/or inquiries received by email, telephone, and/or through personal customer contact.
• Working through all order blocks for timely releases
• Provide order confirmation to customers
• Monitor allocation process
• Monitor OBD creation
• Invoice creation
• Monitor delivery to customer using inputs from logistics team and in support of s Delivery to 1st Promise (DT1P) process
• Resolve any maritime cargo, truck or railcar loading scheduling issues with Demand Planner/ external stakeholders
• Work to resolve product quality issues and customer claims
• Ensure proper documentation is provided to logistics providers on a timely basis
• Resolve billing issues (inter-company or customer)
• Maintain proper records to comply with SABIC document retention policies
• Liaise with commercial team for price confirmation based on the agreed upon rates and monthly business price index
• Ensure the implementation of relevant corporate policies (e.g., Legal and EHSS)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to set priorities and manage time in a dynamic work environment
• Strong oral and written communication skills
REQUIREMENTS
Bilingual in Spanish or Portuguese
Bachelor’s Degree
Computer proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite; Excel/Word/PowerPoint
Knowledge of shipment documents
Knowledge of maritime cargo, rail, and truck logistics
Working knowledge in SAP, ERP, SD, MM and LE
Knowledge of vetting/ documentation
Understanding of Brazilian market
Travel Required: Up to 25%
