"TRS is urgently looking for a DCS Specialist to join our leading International Client's Zubair Field Operations Division based in BASRA, IRAQ."

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Responsible for properly monitoring/following up, coordinating and executing, in agreement with the Company policies and standard the ensuring the integrity of control systems DCS, ESD, Fire & Gas system.
• Performing work online in the fieldbus, industrial ethernet, process automation, process safety management (fire and gas protection and detection system), automation engineering (e.g. software debugging), process automation technologies and industrial automation systems and ability to perform maintenance (repair, calibrations, set-up automatic control systems, isolations, etc.) works including the cards, equipment, various field devices, etc.
• Carrying on periodical maintenance of the System and Field Test according to the cause-and-effect matrix.
• Investigation of fault/failure and suggest/recommend proper modification, and system upgrading.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
• Accredited minimum Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Technological course supported with specialized training and course.
• Previous experience in oil & gas industry in charge on the DCS and Fire & Gas System; in particular the candidate has to be familiar with Emerson Delta V Control System (Original Manufacturer of DCS and Fire & Gas System).
• Previous experience in oil & gas industry in charge on the DCS and Fire & Gas System.
• Knowledge of English language fluent.
• Knowledgeable on reading, interpreting technical drawings, P & I diagram, cause and effect matrix and various flow charts.
