Document Controller Opportunity - Join a Leading Data Centre Construction Specialist!

About The Role

Play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations and project success for a leading company specializing in data centre construction within the civil and infrastructure sector. You'll be the document control specialist, keeping everything organized, compliant, and efficient.

Location: Hoorn, Netherlands

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage both company-wide and project-specific documentation, with a focus on data centre construction projects.
• Oversee site inductions and ensure all operatives' training certificates are up-to-date in the internal system.
• Handle timesheet management, inputting hours into the company database.
• Develop, implement, and maintain document control procedures specific to data centre construction projects.
• Guarantee all documentation adheres to format requirements and client/company standards for data centre projects.
• Generate document progress reports for project managers as needed, focusing on data centre construction milestones.
• Conduct regular audits to ensure documentation remains accurate and reflects the latest data centre construction standards.
• Collect and store files from various departments involved in data centre construction projects.
• Utilize software to streamline document organization and distribution within the company, particularly for data centre construction projects.
• Facilitate timely document delivery to support data centre construction deadlines.
• Uphold the company's core values in your daily work.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience as a Document Controller.
• Tier 1 (UK) / Principal Contractor experience is essential.
• Proficiency in using Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS).
• Experience in the construction industry, preferably with a data centre background, is a plus.
• Experience with A-Connex and ProCore a plus.
• Intermediate IT skills.
• Familiarity with submitting technical documents related to data centre construction.
• Knowledge of BIM Modelling (Building Information Modelling) is beneficial.
