We are seeking a Draughtsman to take precise measurements of components to be re-engineered and produce accurate drawings. Don’t miss out on this exciting job opportunity located in Vanderbijlpark, Gauteng.
Job Responsibilities:
- Create manual drawings or use AutoCAD/SolidWorks software packages.
- Collaborate with the Quality Control Inspector; conduct inspections and quality checks on manufactured pieces.
- Assist the Design Engineer with generating drawings.
- Approve drawings and ensure proper record-keeping electronically.
- Register all drawing documents systematically.
- Participate in health, safety, and incident investigations if errors are linked to drawings.
Qualifications & Skills Requirements:
- National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (higher qualifications accepted).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.
- Exposure to ISO 9001 standards.
- Occupational Health & Safety (OHS) training.
