An opportunity exists for an experienced Dredging Superintendent to lead and coordinate dredging operations for major marine projects in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on managing daily site activities, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards, and optimizing resources to achieve timely and cost-effective project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all on-site dredging activities to ensure compliance with project plans and specifications.
- Monitor equipment performance and operational efficiency.
- Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations during dredging operations.
- Liaise with project managers and other stakeholders to align site activities with project schedules.
- Track daily production and progress against project targets.
- Ensure dredging works meet quality standards and technical requirements.
- Report major issues to the project manager and propose solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of daily operations, equipment usage, and production data.
- Prepare and submit progress reports to management.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce downtime.
- Ensure proper maintenance and servicing of dredging equipment.
Qualifications and Skills Requirements:
- Bachelors of Engineering in Dredging, civil, mechanical or equivalent, master’s degree will be an added value.
- Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience with Dredging & Reclamation projects on capital dredging, not limited to maintenance dredging.
