Client is looking for a Sr. Civil / Structural Designer
Project Type: Oil & gas, petrochemical, Chemicals plants
Location: Eastern Province, Saudi Arabia
Requirements/Qualification:
- KSA‑based candidates highly considered
- 3 Years Diploma in CAD/CAM or post high school CAD training certificate in CAD
- 10-15 years of Civil Structural Designing / drafting experience involving steel, concrete structures / buildings, undergrounds, foundations, earthwork, roads and architectural work in the petrochemical, fertilizer, refining, oil or gas industries.
- Good experience in FEED and Detailed Design projects for both green field and brown field projects.
- Experience in both 3D modeling and 2D drafting including layouts and detail drawings.
- Expertise in 3D modelling for foundations, piles, underground services, roads, paving, drainage works, ponds
- Expertise in 3D modelling for Piperacks, process structures and modules, process and electrical equipment foundations, buildings
- Extract or develop 2D foundation layouts, structural layouts, building drawings from 3D models.
- Develop 2D drawings for reinforcement details, structural steel details, ladders, grating, floor plate details
- Develop 2D drawings for site development, site grading, finish grading, fencing and gate layouts.
- MTO extraction from 3D model and 2D drawings as directed by Lead Engineer and Lead CAD Designer.
- Checking 3D model for consistency, accuracy, clashes and compliance with company standards.
- Review of civil and structural drawings
- Some knowledge of Civil 3D, Revit will be asset.
- Training and development of young designers.
