We are seeking an experienced E&I Construction Manager to oversee all Electrical and Instrumentation construction activities for a major industrial decarbonization project located in Pernis, The Netherlands. The project involves the transformation of existing infrastructure to support more sustainable energy and chemical production processes. Acting on behalf of the main EPC contractor, you will ensure that all E&I works are executed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and coordinate all E&I construction activities on site, ensuring alignment with the overall project schedule and milestones.
- Supervise subcontractors and ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Review and validate technical drawings, installation plans, and material specifications.
- Monitor progress and report deviations, delays, or risks to the EPC Project Director.
- Ensure timely availability of materials, tools, and manpower for E&I works.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with Dutch regulations and project standards.
- Interface with engineering, procurement, and commissioning teams to resolve technical issues.
- Support the development and implementation of construction execution plans and method statements.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, inspections, and test results.
- Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement on site.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or related field.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in E&I construction management, preferably in industrial or energy projects.
- Proven track record working on EPC projects in the Netherlands or similar regulatory environments.
- Strong knowledge of Dutch safety regulations (e.g., VCA), ATEX standards, and IEC/ISO norms.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent in English; Dutch language skills are a strong advantage.
- Familiarity with project management tools and construction scheduling software.
