Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day technical support to offshore teams for troubleshooting, maintenance, and optimization of E&I systems.
- Lead root cause failure analysis (RCFA) and implement corrective actions for recurring issues.
- Ensure compliance with company standards and international codes (IEC, API, NEC, NORSOK) for hazardous area equipment and installations.
- Develop and continuously improve maintenance strategies aligned with reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) principles.
- Oversee campaign maintenance planning, execution, and vendor mobilization.
- Monitor and analyze equipment performance trends (e.g., ESPs, VSDs, DCS) to drive reliability improvements.
- Provide E&I input to brownfield modifications, tie-ins, and life extension projects.
- Review and approve engineering deliverables related to E&I scope.
- Support commissioning and start-up of new or modified systems, including FAT/SAT and loop checks.
Qualifications & Skill Requirements:
- HND/HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation, or Automation.
- Minimum 10–15 years of E&I experience in offshore oil & gas, with at least 5 years in brownfield FPSO, jack-up, or TLP environments.
- HV/LV systems, switchgear, UPS, generators, and protection relays.
- ESPs, MV/LV VSDs (ABB, Siemens, Schneider), harmonics filters.
- DCS/PLC systems (Emerson, Rockwell, ABB), SCADA, and field instrumentation.
- Hazardous area classification and Ex equipment maintenance.
- Familiarity with SAP PM, CMMS, and digital maintenance tools
- Fluent in English; French or Spanish is a plus.
- Offshore survival and HV/LV switching certifications preferred.
