Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and monitor EHS strategies in alignment with local regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and environmental impact assessments.
- Ensure compliance with Danish and EU health & safety laws, including ATEX, COSHH, and GMP regulations.
- Provide training and guidance on EHS protocols for project teams, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Investigate incidents, root causes, and corrective actions to minimize workplace hazards.
- Collaborate with engineering, construction, and operational teams to integrate safety measures into design and execution phases.
- Report EHS performance metrics and recommend improvements to senior management.
- Liaise with regulatory agencies and ensure all permits and environmental reporting requirements are met.
- Drive sustainability initiatives, including waste management and energy efficiency efforts.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in EHS management within the pharmaceutical or construction sector.
- Strong knowledge of Danish and EU EHS regulations.
- Certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent (preferred).
- Experience with GMP compliance and pharmaceutical safety standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with diverse teams.
