Electrical Commissioning Technician

Our Partner, a Global Architecture, Engineering and Construction firm, is seeking an Electrical Commissioning Technician to join their growing team. This role would be located on site at a leading silicon technology company in Hillsboro, Oregon.


Roles and Responsibilities:

Individual shall demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Site Electrical systems and their relationship to other systems. Early responsibilities will include attending construction and safety reviews with System Owner and providing input from an Operations perspective. This individual shall have past experience in starting up & commissioning equipment, systems, generators, and switchgear. Individual will work with the System Owner to develop OAT’s, FAT’s, PM’s and training procedures for the systems and be responsible for the P1276 transfer deliverables, audits, FAT and Blue Tag process on the electrical systems.

Skills Required:

• Should be a licensed Electrician in the state of Oregon.
• Journeyman certification preferred.
• Excellent people and communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must be disciplined, taking leadership and ownership of tasks and able to complete tasks to schedule and priority.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Must be able to work effectively across disciplines, work groups and with contractors to complete tasks and objectives.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
