"TRS is seeking an Electrical Engineer with High Voltage Design experience within Power and Renewable Energy Industry. The role will be based in CAPE TOWN.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Electrical Engineer educated in the electrical heavy current but could also be interested in control and instrumentation.
• Deliver creative engineering solutions from concept to detailed design, to tender, construction and operation, you will cover the full lifecycle of projects.
• Power distribution and substations to motor control centres and instruments and PLC’s.
• Energy saving strategies to data analysis, our scope is varied and exciting. You support graduates to learn the ropes and ensure our engineering offering is professional, appropriate, and effective.
• Experience with clients in the Mining, Oil and Gas, Water, Wastewater, and Manufacturing industries. With increasingly focused on energy efficiency and effective data management strategies.
• Create value for our clients, and ourselves.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
• Accredited BSc / MSc / BEng / BTech Degree in Electrical / Mechatronic
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in the industrial space, as a consultant, a client, or a contractor. With exposure to the consulting engineering space, with dedication and commitment to balancing technical and commercial forces.
• Professional Registration with ECSA would be an advantage.
• CDEGS, CYMCAP, MATHCAD, PLS-CADD experience will be advantageous.
• Basic MicroStation/AutoCAD skills.
• Wide range of general knowledge of Electrical Engineering.
