Job Responsibilities:
- Receive procurement requests.
- Record supply needs.
- Identify and select the best sourcing channel and reference amongst the pre-negotiated framework (suppliers, contracts, catalogues).
- Ensure good compliance with operating procedures and negotiated contracts/orders.
- Address enquiries on the status of products from internal customers.
- Execute the core aspects of the supply process.
- Manage supply logistics.
- Manage and resolve non-compliances and disputes.
- Reporting and feedback.
Qualification and Skills Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in procurement or supply chain or NQF equivalent.
- CIPS level 4 or higher is preferred.
- Minimum 2 years’ functional experience covering procurement, supply chain and logistics.
- Experience in operational procurement preferably in power plants.
- Fluent in English.
- Experience in negotiation.
- Good organization and communication skills.
